In May 2018 I started blogging on anything/everything from a pre/post small human perspective and the ‘Lightboxblogger’ was born. No mean feat considering my prehistoric approach to technology (I’m of the blackboard and chalk era.)
It got parents talking about how hard caring for the small humans can be. I started receiving comments via text, FB, from my blog and thought it would be great to collate them and have a space where mums could talk and exchange/seek ideas/advice. I appreciate that not everybody wants to comment so publicly so that’s the idea behind this private group. Only members of the group can read the comments.
You can join the group here:
This group is in addition to the public group @lightboxblogger (www.lightboxblogger.co.uk) where I first post about my latest blog.
I try to blog weekly but have found that sometimes that is just not manageable. Parenting life can be somewhat unpredictable. When I do blog it’s on a certain topic and I’ll pop it in the group. The idea is that instead of leaving the topic in the dark we LIGHT IT UP and TALK about it because after a good chat I bet you’ll feel a damn sight better.
The group is a confidential space where there is no room for criticism or judgement just plenty of support and advice. You might have 1, 2, 3 (insert own number) of small humans. Maybe you are going through a difficult time right now, maybe you’re out the other side, maybe you found it all a walk in the park, maybe you can’t wait to depart your advice. Please feel free to comment, seek/give advice on the blog topics. Equally just lurk and soak it all up. Whatever works for you.
Look forward to chatting with you.
